• What Is Documentary Family Photography?

    Imagine having a tangible record of the tender, hilarious, and mundane moments that make up the story of your life. Imagine having an archive of the bizarre quirks and personalities that make your family unique and weird. Imagine all of this without the effort of matching outfits, itchy sweaters, and wiping chocolate off your kids’ faces. That is my approach to Documentary Family Photography. Try it, you’ll like it!

  • What Is A "Day In The Life Session"?

    A Day in the life session takes place in your home or a meaningful location of your choice. You will go about your day and I will be hanging out and HAPPEN to have my camera with me. I will be there for the spills, tantrums, hugs, and kisses…. all the daily tasks that seem boring to you. I will show the love and the care in your seemingly mundane moments.

    I may end up standing on your furniture or getting down on the floor, whatever it takes to capture your story. I will not tell you to repeat anything, move or, do a backflip (but if you can I’d love to see that. There will definitely be no CHEESE!

Before

Before your session, we will have a short 10-minute call to discuss the details and make sure you have all the clarity you need to enjoy your time.

During

You go about living life as normal. No need to perform, match all 10 kids in different versions of the same outfit, say cheese, or repeat anything funny. You be you, and I’ll make some great artwork for you to remember forever.

After

Three weeks later, we will get together to have an ordering session. We’ll watch a slideshow reliving your day. I will help you choose your favorites and we will decide how you would like to preserve them.
